The Grazing Zebra was recently part of an exciting business launch, where we catered for hundreds of delegates attending NEFF’s B2B event, which ran daily over the course of four weeks.
NEFF is a well-known German manufacturer of high-end kitchen appliances, and we’re very proud to had been selected for this Corporate Catering contract. The event took place at BSH’s National distribution centre - a state-of-the-art facility in Corby which is the largest facility of its kind in the UK.
After months of planning, negotiations and perfecting the final menu, I was given a free rein to design my Grazing Tables and to create an eye-catching dining display using various accessories, different heights and props. Attention to detail is important to me and this project was a dream come true; it wasn’t just about the food but the whole ‘package’ and I thoroughly enjoyed the creative process when planning this event.
Over the course of four weeks we had over thousand delegates coming through the doors, they were served Cheese and Charcuterie Grazing Platters (served on bespoke oak boards) and Grazing Cups, featuring delicious, carefully selected artisan cheeses and charcuterie, as well as sweet treats - variety of freshly baked cakes. Every morning, after arrival, I’d dress the tables in beautiful flowers, fresh foliage and accessories ready for the day ahead. Then there was a lot of kitchen prep and planning the menu taking into consideration any dietary requirements and allergies.
We really enjoyed working closely with the client on planning and organising this B2B event which was a great success. A smooth operation couldn’t however be possible without a huge team effort – from my suppliers, bakers and florist to the waiting staff – they all played their part and made my job of organising, coordinating and executing this huge Corporate Catering Project a real pleasure.
